摘要：PURPOSE:To increase the exhaust gas recirculation rate according to increase in a difference between pressures in front of and at the back of a suction control valve, the pressures acrossing the valve, which is disposed on the way of a straight passage, so as to make the amount of the circulation follow an opening and intake air quantity of the suction control valve in a variable suction swirl type suction port construction. CONSTITUTION:A suction port 3 is partitioned by a guide vane 7 into a helical passage 8 which turns about its opening end toward a combustion chamber 2, and a straight passage 9 which is linearly communicated with said opening end. A suction control valve
10 is disposed on the way of the straight passage 9, and a driving lever 12 of a valve rod
11 is driven by and linked with a rod 14 of a diaphragm device 13 and its opening is increased according to decreased effect of suction negative pressure. Downstream and upstream negative pressures acrossing the suction control valve 11 are delivered via port 45 and 47 into the first diaphragm chamber 39 and the second diaphragm chamber 40 of an exhaust gas recirculation control valve 30, respectively, whereby exhaust gas recirculation rate may be increased according to increase
of the differential pressure.
