摘要：PURPOSE:To enable a chain conveyor to be changed in speed even when it is operating at a high-speed, by providing a chain rail on the body frame for supporting a chain and by separating rollers from rails to stop the rotation of the rollers. CONSTITUTION:A chain rail 9, which is adapted to support a chain 3 such that the chain 3 is prevented from slackening and allowed to move smoothly, is raised up so that rollers 5 are seperated from rails 7. Carry rollers 6 are thereby stopped rotating, and the speed of conveying articles is changed to a speed equal to that of the chain. By providing such a chain rail 9 in an appropriate position, even a high-speed chain conveyor can be changed in speed easily.
