Abstract

Under the premise of paying great attention to Chinese cultural consciousness and cultural confidence,this paper studies the status quo and major problems of Chinese cultural quality of English majors in the first,second and third grades through questionnaire and a comparative analysis.The findings show that most students pay much attention to the Chinese cultural quality,but the degree of mastery and promotion is greatly influenced by the pressure of study and English proficiency tests.The mastery of each grade is slightly different,and the overall situation is not optimistic.The three grades all considered that the lack of corresponding expressions in English of Chinese culture is the biggest probl

摘要

在当前高度注重中国文化自觉和文化自信的前提下，通过问卷调查和数据分析研究了大一、大二、大三年级英语专业学生中国文化素养的现状和存在的主要问题，并进行了对比分析。研究结果表明，大多数学生对中国文化素养比较重视，但是掌握和提升程度受学习压力和英语专业级别考试影响较大，各年级掌握情况略微不同，总体情况不容乐观。三水年级学生均认为欠缺中国文化相应英语表达是最大的困难。在课堂教学中，教师对学生中国文化素养的重视程度与课程属性以及教师自身的中国文化意识有较大关联。同时，学生希望学校通过多种途径开展中国文化知识教学，以提升其文化素养。基于以上分析，提出了提高英语专业学生中国文化素养的教学策略。
