Abstract： As the knowledge society is arriving， it will be necessary for a great number of knowledge workers and non-knowledge workers to learn to manage themselves. Self-management is becoming one of the main management challenges in the twenty-first century. In this context， the paper concludes the father of modern management discipline—Peter Drucker's self-management thought. It is significant to further popularize and apply the self-management thought as a kind of life habit and work ethic in organizations纯纳什均衡， thus promoting the comprehensive and harmonious development and self-realization of knowledge workers.
