Abstract In this paper, the authors studied the process of recovering hyoscyamine from the waste liquid af-ter the extraction of scopolamine in hindu datura. The effect of pH value on the extraction recov-ery rate was mainly studied. The optimization results confirmed that when the pH was 10, the ex-traction recovery rate of hyoscyamine was 87.56% ± 3.12%, which could effectively recover the hyoscyamine from the waste liquid.
