8月8日20时，第29届奥林匹克运动会开幕式正式在国家体育场拉开帷幕。 中国、国际奥委会主席入场 中国、国际奥委会主席雅克-罗格进入VIP贵宾席。主持人：美丽的欢迎焰火绕场一周，在鸟巢上空花朵般绽放，激活了古老的日晷。在鸟巢上方显得格外漂亮，富有太阳投射的影子来测定时间计时日期的日晷，由日晷发出的时间之光点亮了鸟巢，
点亮了2021面缶组成的矩形缶阵。
