语法：
1. why not + 动词原形 “为什么不……呢？” Eg: Why not start early? 2. why don’t we/you + V原形 “我们/你们为什么不……呢？”
Eg：Why don’t we watch the match?
3. How/What about + V-ing “……怎么样？” Eg: How about joining a swimming club?
4. It’s a good idea to do sth “做某事是个好主意”
Eg: It’s a good idea to get up early.
5. Try (not) to do sth “尽量(不要)做某事” Eg: Try to translate it.
6. Let’s + V原 “让我们……吧。” Eg: Let’s go out to take a walk.
7. You should/shouldn’t + V原形 “你(们)（不）应该……。”
Eg: You should look up the word.
8. Shall we + V原形 “我们……好吗？” Eg: Shall we go to the zoo?
9. We/You had better (not) + V原形 “我们/你们最好（不）做……。”
Eg: You’d better ask Mr. Zhang for advice.
常用答语：
1. Good idea. “好主意。”
2. That’s/It’s a good idea. “那是个好主意。”
3. Sounds great/good. “听起来很好。”
4. That sounds like a good idea. “那听起来像个好主意。”
5. Sure! Why not? “当然！为什么不呢？
Unit1 Let’s try to speak English as much as possible
1.pair “（相关的）两个人，一对” in pairs “成对的；成双的”

6.match （Vt）“使相配” match…with… “把……和……搭配起来”
(n.) ①比赛；相配的人或物 ②火柴
7.meaning (n.) “意思” Eg: What’s the meaning of “tiger”?
mean (v.) ① mean to do sth. 打算做某事 ② mean doing sth. 意味着做某事
8.word (n.) 词 in a ward 总而言之 in other words 换句话说
9.complete (Vt.) “把…填完整，使完全” complete…with… “用…把…填完整”
10.sentence (n.) “句子” Eg: make a sentence 造个句子
(v.) “宣判；判决” Eg: be sentenced to death 被判处死刑
11.letter (n.) ① “信” write a letter 写信 ②“字母”capital/small letter 大小写字母
12.look up ①“查”后接需要查的某种信息；后接名词在up前后均可Eg: look the letter up
后接代词时放在look 与 up 之间 Eg: look them up
②“仰视；向上看” Eg: He looked up from his book as I entered the room.
13.make a mistake = make mistakes “犯错误” by mistake “（由于疏忽）无意地”
14.welcome (back) to …… 欢迎（回）到……
15.talk about “谈论； 讨论” 指具体谈论某件事，后接谈论内容 talk to/with sb. “同某人交谈”
16.the good way to do sth. “做某事的好方法”
17.who “谁” 就人物提问； 作主语时，谓语动词用单数 Eg: Who is standing there?
18.advice (Un) “建议；意见” 表示“一条建议” 时用 a piece of advice 表示“一些建议” 用some advice give advice about… “给关于…建议”
Eg: I will give you some advice on how to learn English.
19.should (情态动词) “应该” 表示建议、责任或义务
（1）should 可以用于各种人称，后接动词原形 Eg: You should go to school now.
（2）将should 提到主语之前构成疑问句 Eg: Should I invite him to the party?
（3）should后加not构成否定句 should not = shouldn’t
Eg： You shouldn’t tell him the news.

Eg: (1) Try to listen to the teacher carefully in clas.
(2) Try not to translate every word.
21.as…as possible = as…as sb. can “尽可能……”
Eg: I’ll come back as soon as possible. = I’ll come back as soon as I can.
22.Why not do …? = Why don’t you do … “为什么不…吗？”
表示提出某种建议，后跟动词原形
23.write down “写下；记下” Eg: Please write them down.
24.forget (V.) “忘记” 反义词 ipad电影格式> remember (V.) “记得”
forget/remember to do sth. “忘记/记得要去做某事”Eg：I forget to open the door.
forget/remember doing sth.“忘记/记得做过某事” Eg: I forget opening the door.
25.next to “在……旁边的” Eg: I sit next to her.
26.else (adv.)“其他的，别的，另外的” 可用在what, who, where等疑问词之后。
Eg: What else did he say? 他还说了什么？
else也可放在something, anything, something, somebody, nobody等不定代词后
Eg: I don’t want anything else. 我什么都不想要。
else位于被修饰词之后（修饰不定代词，疑问词） Eg: Who else are you waiting for? other位于被修饰词之前（修饰名词） Eg: What other things do you want?
27.It is + 名词（短语）+ to do sth. “做某事是……”
Eg: It is a good idea to make a pen pal. 交个笔友是个好主意。
28.pronounce (Vt) “发…的音” pronunciation (n.) “发音”
