关键词尽量选用美国《医学索引》的《医学主题词表》(Medical Suhjprt Headings, MeSH)中的主题词。国内出版的MfiSH词表是由美国国立 医学图书馆(NLM)编制授权中国医学科学院医学信息研究所编译的《医学主题词注释字顺表》。 由于医学科学技术的飞速发展.M A H词表的内容无法及时包含和反映新概念、新名词,或涉及MeSH同表中未收录的词,如中医药学中的 一些名词、流行病学调查研究中涉及的地名等.这时的主题标引选用自由词作为关键词。 医学论文关键词中的自由词也多为规范的专业名词术语,如全国科学技术名词审定委员会公布的名词术语。对于新的名词,可能存在同 一概念有多个名词或无规范词时,要选取使用频次较高的词作为关键词.,
不论是主题词还是自由同,要注意选取针对本篇论文,能够准确反映论文主要、重点信息,具有实质意义的词或词组。
