Add Business Service to OMW default project
To add a Business Service to the Object Management Workbench default project:
1. Launch JD Edwards Solution Explorer
a. user name: JDE
b. password: JDE
2. Type OMW in the fast path field and press enter
3. In the right hand pane click the ‘Search ’ tab
4. Complete the Object Search Criteria to search for JPR01000
5.
Search for the Business Service by pressing the Search button to the right of the
object name.
6. Highlight JPR01000 in the results pane and press the ‘Add Object ’ button to add it
to the default project.
Inspect artifacts and published class
To inspect checked in artifacts and published class for a Business Service
1. Expand the default project and select the JPR01000 object

2.Press ‘Design’
3.Click the ‘Design Tools’ tab then press the ‘View Checked In Artifacts’ button
4.The View Checked In Artifacts screen displays information about the JPR01000
object.
a.The Package Prefix shows the first part of the Java package that will be
assigned to any new Java artifact in this object.
b.The Published Class Name identifies the artifact (if any) that can be used
to create web services during the Package Build process.
c.The grid displays each of the managed artifacts in the JPR01000 object
along with the artifact’s state (Found on client, Not found on client) and
location.

Class that can be chosen as web service operations during Package Build Business
Service Assembly.

Launch JDeveloper and add Business Service projects to a JDeveloper workspace
To launch JDeveloper for Business Service development and include additional Business
Services in the development workspace:
7.Press the Invoke JDeveloper button
8.Press OK on Validation Error message
9.Browse or type JDeveloper install path of “D:\JDeveloper”
