Application of carbon nanomaterials in sizing agents for carbon fiber

Abstract:The classification and function of sizing agents foo carbon fibeo were boiefly introduced.The application performance of carbon nanomaterials in sizing agents for carbon fiber was mainly introduced,including the effects of carbon nanomaterials on the stability of sizing agent,surface characteristics of carbon fibee and interface performance of carbon fibee composite material. The sizing agents for carbon fiaer are divided inte solvent type,emulsion type and water-soluble type.Carbon nanomaterials can be directly introduced on the surface of carbon fiber through sizing process.Modified carbon nanomate/als in sizing aaent can re­duce the agglomeratiox of aizing aaent latex particles,improve the stability of sizing aaent,increase the surface roughness of car­bon fiber,change the surface chemical composition of carbon fiber,enhance the physical anchoring effect and chemical bonding effect of carbon fiber composite interface and improve the interface performance of carbon fiber composite by introducing function­al groups with the same chai/e.It was
pointed out that the modified carbon nanomate/als grafting onte the sizing aaent by chemi­cal bond can rieviate the agglomeration of carbox nanomate/als and acquire more evenly wrapping oc the surface of carbon fi­bers,and further improve the surface properties of carbon fibers and the interfacial properties of composite materials,which is one of the important research trends of carbox nanomate/al sizing agents in the future.

上海化工区建设400kt/a己二睛生产基地
2020年6月16日,上海化学工业区举行英威达尼龙化工己二睛生产基地的奠基仪式,标志着总投资超过70亿元、400kta的己二睛项目正式启动建设。该生产基地是英威达长期战略投资的重要一步,也是上海化工区打造从己二睛到高性能纤维完整尼龙66产业链的关键一步。己二睛生产基地建成后,上海将拥有从己二睛到高性能纤维的全球最大的一体化尼龙66产业链基地。
英威达亚太区尼龙中间体业务副总裁李凯(Kyle Redinger)表示,此次英威达开建的项目将采用最新英
威达第四代己二睛技术,在上海化学工业区建设400kta世界级己二睛工厂,满足中国市场对己二睛的长期需求。相比于先前技术,英威达第四代己二月青技术的主要优势体现在提高产量、降低能耗、减少温室气体排放量、增加工艺稳定性、降低资本密集度等。这就意味着同样的投资额可以建设一个更大产量、更具安全性、环境更友好的己二睛工厂。(通讯员钱伯章)
