【Abstract】There are considerable differences between Chinese culture and Western culture. These bring difficulties to Chinese-English translation. In general， the process of cultural factors in the translated text can be divided into two opposing views， the so-called foreignization and domestication. In this paper邓小弟， the author takes the two wide-spread translation of Hongloumeng碳化硅纳米线， namely Yang Hsien-yi’s version and Hawkes’ version， as examples， to discuss the deal with cultural factors during Chinese-English Translation.
