摘要：PURPOSE:To manufacture the title fastener with a widthwise continuous pattern by simultaneously dyeing both a tape part and an engagement part, by a method wherein while the slide fastener in the condition under which interlocking members are engaged is being conveyed at a certain speed, the pattern is formed on the basis of the positional information possessed of pattern elements. CONSTITUTION:A dyeing pattern to be shaped is divided into picture elements on a dot matrix, and while a slide fastener 1 in the condition under which interlocking members are engaged is being conveyed at a certain speed in the longitudinal direction, ink-drops are jetted in the width direction by an ink jet nozzle 17, on the basis of the positional information possessed of each of picture elements and an attached pattern 27 is formed. After that, the slide fastener 1 is treated by heat, and the slide fastener 1 is dyed with a dyestuff on the attached pattern 27, and thus a dyeing pattern is formed. In this way, in the condition under which the interlocking members are engaged, the pattern can be freely printed on both a tape part and an engagement part of the slide fastener, independent of existence of difference in level between the tape part and the engagement part of the slide fastener.
