摘要：PURPOSE:To perform efficient plasma spraying in a good working environment, by using a method and apparatus for bringing the gas stream in the nozzle provided to the leading end of a plasma torch to a laminar flow state and separating plasma from a plasma flame immediately before plasma spraying. CONSTITUTION:A torch 48 having a distribution means 28 for forming a laminar stream to plasma gas 8 is provided at the part upstream from the leading end of a cathode 1 and the molten material 18 sent from a material feed-in pipe 17 toward a plasma flame is immediately heated to high temp. by high temp. strong laminar plasma having extremely high entharpy to form a molten material 20 which, in turn, accompanies a plasma flame 51 to advance toward a matrix 22. Only plasma 16 is separated by the plasma separation means 49 provided immediately before the matrix 22 and collided with the matrix 22 being an object to be treated immediately after separation to form a strong film 21.
