Ahoy, mates! The name’s Blackbones, the greatest and most famous pirate all over the world. Everybody is interested in my story and I become the best teacher students have ever had.
It all began when my ship was attacked by English Royal Army. I survived and had no way to make money but to teach at school. However, my habit didn’t change at all. I not only tau
ght the students in class 4 to draw skulls and crossbones anywhere, but also ordered them to fight against class 3 in the swimming pool. It seemed that everyone loved and appreciated me except Miss Lupin, the headmaster. She was so angry that it seemed I had to say goodbye to my new shipmates right after the school fair.
Fortunately, Tara and Yasmin brought a piece of good news which blew my disappointment away and brought hope to me. As long as we made 10,000 pounds to save the school, I would have the chance to stay there.
Everyone thought hard about how to make money and finally I suggested we have a treasure hunt. Of course, it worked quite well. It was the bright star of the school fair. You know I am talented in these things. In every corner, people were busy digging for buried treasure. The school head Miss Lupin was really mad at me because I almost ruined her old school. However, the result was unexpected. The game teacher ran up holding a silver box filled with jewels and necklaces. We really got the buried treasure. It was like the summer rain which made the dessert bloom. The school was saved and I could stay and teach my lovely kids to sail.
Now I believe teaching is much more fun than I have ever expected. And I enjoy my new life. That’s my story. Do you like it?

My Big Chance

It was my big chance when I became a class teacher, which almost changed my life. As you know, I used to be such an ignorant and cold-blooded pirate that I was really unconfident to teach those lovely children. But it turned out that I gained not only happiness but also a better life.
I could remember clearly about that day. When I strode into the classroom, I promised myself that I should teach them in a pirate’s unique way. And that’s what I did. First, I used a sword to sharpen a pencil and the class gasped. Meanwhile, I was proud of myself. That was the way that a pirate teacher should do.
Then I asked a child what lesson it was. When she answered “Geography”, I was puzzle
d because I never heard of it. In my opinion, the classroom should be like a pirate’s ship. So I ordered them to start with art. My students looked like proper pirates when they painted skull and crossbones on the door and practiced swords fighting with their rulers.
Now that they are proper pirates, I thought it was time to teach them sailing. Of course the sea was miles away, so we sailed for the swimming pool. My students and I had great fun fighting with Class 3.
But Miss Lupin, the headmaster ruined the relaxing atmosphere. I almost jumped out of my socks at that moment when she ordered me to get into her office. I could guess what would happen.
After the afternoon, I came back into the class room with frustration, because Miss Lupin decided to sack me after the school fair. My students were sad when I told them the truth. And I was really moved when I found my students trying every way to help me. They told me the school needed £10,000 to mend the roof or would be closed and their plan to save me. I smiled when I heard the good news, which would not only save me but also the school.
Time flew. The big day arrived. I tried my best to sell more maps because I didn’t want to disappoint my students. Crowds of people came to me, puzzling over the treasure map. Soon, in every corner people were digging for buried treasure. A satisfying smile crept onto my face. Just then, I heard a voice burst into anger. It was Miss Lupin, she couldn’t control herself because of the nasty mess in her school. All of a sudden, a teacher with the buried treasure race to us in a hurry. I was right. The buried treasure was hidden by her Great Aunt Amelia which was worth more than £10,000.
The simple end to the story is that I saved the school and got a new job teaching the children to sail. But without my clever students, I would lose my job. Now, I am sailing in the sea and feeling the tumbling waves with my little pirates. It doesn’t matter where we are. If they are happy, I will be pleased.
