1 Safety

All personnel involved in installation, commissioning and maintenance of this equipment must: - be suitably qualified and
- strictly observe these operating instructions. Improper operation or misuse can lead to  - serious or fatal injury,

Safety instructions in this manual are presented in three diffe- rent forms to emphasize important information.

TT-PWM60数字式温度传送器是设计用来测量变压
器及其系统的温度的,并将结果转换成信号,用于远程传输
调试仪表前,务必仔细查阅铭牌上和操作使用说明书中所限定的使用极限值。
1.3 设备操作的重要提示
从业人员必须遵守国家关于健康及安全的规章。
特别要强调的是,如果工作是在带电的部件(直接接触会触电)上进行,那么,只有在这些部件断电后,或者对它们进行了妥善的保护,工作人员直接接触不到时,这些工作才可以进行。

单元测试流程1.2 Specified application
The digital temperature transmitter TT-PWM60 is designed for the measuring of temperatures on transformers and their systems and for the conversion of the results into signals for the purpose of remote transmission.
It is important to read and observe the limit values for operation indicated on the nameplate and in the operating instructions prior to commissioning the device.
1.3 Important notes on equipment operation
The user is obliged to comply with the national health
and safety regulations.
It is especially emphasized that works performed to live, i.e. dangerous-contact components, are permissible only while these components are either de-energized or protected against direct contact.
Electrical installation is subject to the relevant national safety regulations. It is imperative to connect the protective conductor in order to ensure trouble-free operation.

Description of the product
The digital temperature transmitter TT-PWM60 is designed for the measuring of temperatures on transformers and their systems and for the conversion of the results into signals for the purpose of remote transmission.
To measure the temperature the temperature transmitter (Fig. 1/4) is screwed into a thermometer pocket
(according to DIN 42554) by means of a double threaded union (Fig. 1/3)

温度传送器的温度由半导体元件(PTAT )测量。传送器传输数字量输出信号,它的脉冲占空因素与绝对温度(脉宽调制)成正比。
测量值输出可以是模拟信号(0...1mA, 0...20mA 或 4...20mA) 也可选择RS485接口。仪表和电源通过一个插头(图1/6)连接到装置上。第2个电缆输出端(图1/1)将其它装置连接到RS485上。

安装
and a lock nut (Fig. 1/2). The temperature in the temperature transmitter is measured by a semiconductor element (PTAT). The transmitter transmits a digital output signal, the pulse duty factor of which is directly proportional to the absolute temperature (pulse-wide modulation).
The measurement output is provided by an analog signal
(0...20mA 20mA) and an RS485 interface which is available as an option. The instrument leads and the power supply are connected to the device by a plug (Fig. 1/6). A second cable outlet (Fig.1/1) is provided for the connection of additional devices to the RS485 interface.
Additional settings can be made and wiring provided inside the device. To do this, the lid of the housing (Fig. 1/5) must be opened by unscrewing the recessed head screws. The type-specific temperature transmitter data is shown on the name plate (Fig.1/7).
When the transmitter signal is transmitted along lengthy leads the output signals of most transmitters (often just millivolts) can be highly critical. The low output voltages can be interfered with to the point of unusability by electromagnetic interference from power installations, machines or high-frequency transmitters.
It is for this reason that analog transmitter signals are generally converted these days into relatively interference-immune current signals (e.g. 4...20mA) at the measuring point with the aid of transmitters. It should be noted that digital signal transmission is preferable to analog transmission because of its much better signal/noise distance. The TT-PWM60 comes with an interference-immune digital transmitter, the digital signal of which is converted to an interference-immune current signal and is optionally available via an RS485 interface. The TT-PWM60 is therefore ideally suitable for the transmission of transmitter signals along lengthy leads.
3 Installation

按照DIN42554标准,该温度传送器安装在一个温度计封套内。
安装步骤如下:
向温度计封套内灌2/3的油。如灌的油太多,温度传送器被拧进封套时油会溢出。
从温度传送器处松开双螺纹接头G1"(图1/3,扳手尺寸32毫米),确保整个过程密封圈未脱落。 将双螺纹接头拧到温度计封套内。
The temperature transmitter is designed for use in a thermometer pocket according to DIN 42554. Install as follows:
Fill the thermometer pocket to 2/3 with oil. If filled any higher the oil will spill over when the temperature transmitter is being screwed into place.
Unscrew the double threaded union G1" (Fig. 1/3; wrench size32 mm) from the temperature transmitter, making sure the seal does not drop out in the process. Screw the double threaded union into the thermometer pocket.
