一、教学目标:

四、教学准备:PPT , word cards.
五、教学过程:
Greetings and warm-up
1. The teacher and students greet each other.
2. Oral communication about greetings and introduce. Guide them to use the useful expressions below in daily life.
T: Hello, I’m Mr Ouyang. What’s your name?
S1: Hi, My name is ….
T: How are you?
S1: Very well, thanks. Mr Ouyang, this is ….
T: Nice to meet you.
S2: Nice to meet you, too.
T: Let’s play! OK?    S1&S2: Great!
3.  Repeat the song Hello.
Presentation
1. Lead in. Show the headwear of Sarah, Mike, Mr Jones. And say hello to the students. Board the sentence 频率补偿I’m… and practice it with the different headwear. Show them all the headwear and ask How many friends do you have? Ask the students to count them one by one. Elicit the word friend. We have nine friends, they are…. ( Teacher shows the PPT and presents all the figures in the book for the students.) Then point and say.
2. T: Last term we had 9 friends. This term we have two new friends. Do you want to know them? Let’s go and have a look.
3. Show the PPT and present two new friends Amy and Zhang Peng. Lead the students to repeat the names. Practice the names with the key sentence I’m… in pairs.
4. Self-practice. Teacher goes around in the classroom and helps those who need help.
5. Present the headwear of Zhang Peng and say Hello, I’m Zhang Peng. I’m from Shandong. Hello, I’m Amy. I’m from the UK. 簇绒机Guide the students to understand the phrases from Shandong, from the UK. Then board the sentence I’m from_______ . Lead the students to say.
6. Game: Challenge yourself How many countries do you know?
Present the pictures of the UK, the USA, Canada and China on PPT. Ask the students to guess and learn the new words group by group, between boys and girls, in high and low voice….
7. Put the words of places into the sentence I’m from… and practice I’m from the UK/ the USA/ Canada/ China/ Shantou….
8. Self-practice. Teacher goes around in the classroom and helps those who need help. Ask one of them to describe himself with Hi, I’m___. I’m from______.
Ш Summary & homework
1. Present the key words and sentences and review them again.
2. Homework: Introduce themselves to their parents by using the key sentences learned today.
