摘要：PURPOSE:To simply and efficiently separate limphocyte without requiring a special apparatus and damaging a cell function by immobilizing glycosuide having affinity to a specific limphocyte on an insoluble solid substance. CONSTITUTION:As glycoside used in a limphosite separating agent, a compound wherein sugar and aglycon being a non-sugar component are bonded is used and, as a water-soluble solid substance immobilizing the compound, a carrier generally used in an immobilized enzyme method or affinity chromatography can be used without a special limit and a particulate form having a particle size of 0.05 - 5 mm is pref. All of known methods are used in immobilization but, from the aspect of stability in body fluids or a cell suspension, immobiliza tion due to a covalent bond or a hydrophobic bond is desirable. The limphocyte separating agent 5 composed of the particulate insoluble solid substance thus obtained is held in the column container 4 of a limphocyte separation apparatus 1 by filters 6a' 6b. This apparatus is incorporated in an extracorporeal circula tion treatment circuit to perform the treatment of a patient suffering from immunopathy.
