The Monster Hunt
教学参考的目的在于为实验课提供一个基本的思路和框架，帮助实验教师更好地把握课题理念。课题组鼓励实验教师结合学生的实际情况适当做出调整，将实验课上出特。 一、教学目标
1. 语言m2卡
能力目标：学生能够听懂故事；能够惟妙惟肖地模仿录音；能够绘声绘地独立朗读故事；能理解故事情节；能够学会运用“went …”句型；能够简单的仿写故事。 2. 非语言能力目标：通过观察外婆和孩子们发现并到怪物的过程培养学生的观察力，体会一家人一起游戏时的快乐氛围；培养学生敢读、敢表达的自信和勇气。

二、课时安排
要求每周不少于两课时，每课时至少完成一个故事。
三、教师要求
1. 教师课前须熟读故事，了解故事内容。
2. 对于较难的单词，教师可板书，并配合动作和表情帮助学生理解。
3. 全英文授课。
四、教学用具
糖果装多媒体设备、CD机、课件（课题组提供）、图片（footprints, a monster glove, the monster, hill, mill, monster’s tail）、词卡（两张crash, 两张went, a sack, the monster）、字母卡（见环节7）。
五、课堂教学基本步骤
防粘贴1. 导入（Lead-in）：谈论与怪物相关的话题，引入故事情境
通过图片引入“monster”这一话题，引导学生展开头脑风暴，进行讨论，为看图讲故事做铺垫。
教师展示一张monster逃跑的图片（见课件），并与学生互动：
Look at this picture. What’s it?
It’s a monster.
What does it look like?
It has big ears, big hands, big feet and a big tail.
Is it a real monster? Why？（引导学生发现monster的手套掉了）
What was the monster doing?
He was running.
Why did he run? Let’s find the answer in the story The Monster Hunt.
2. 看图讲故事（Storytelling）：理解故事情节，体会一家人游戏时的快乐氛围
教师利用课件逐幅播放故事图片，并用丰富的表情、生动的英文和适当的肢体语言给学生绘声绘地讲故事，让学生观察外婆和孩子们是如何抓住怪物的，体会一家人游戏时的快
乐氛围。
（Picture 1）Gran took the children on a game.
What’s the name of the game?（指着挂在树干上的海报） Monster Hunt.
Floppy and the children were very happy. （指着Floppy和孩子们）
They wanted to play the game.
（Picture 2）They went to a river.
“Come and look at this,” said Biff.
What did Biff see?（指着地上的脚印）
She saw some monster footprints.
（Picture 3）Gran and the children went cross the river.
“Come and look at this,” said Chip.
What did Chip see?（指着Chip手中的手套）
He saw a monster glove.
Can you see the monster?
（Picture 4）Gran and the children walked on the grass.
“Oh! Look!” said Kipper.
What did Kipper see?（指着躲在树后的monster）
He saw the monster!
（Picture 5）The monster ran.（指着逃跑得只看得见尾巴的monster）
Gran and the children ran after it.
“Come on,” said Gran.
“Let’s get that monster!”
（Picture 6）The monster ran and ran.
It ran up the hill.（指着小山丘）
It ran fast.
（Picture 7）Then where did it go?
Oh no! It ran into the mill.（指着磨坊）
The door of the mill was open.（指着磨坊的门）
The monster could hide in it.
（Picture 8）The children went to the door.
“Come on,” said Chip.
“Let’s get that monster!”

What would Gran do with the tail?

“Got you!” she said.
