Unit 3 My friends    A Let’s spell说课稿
Today I’m going to talk about Unit 3 My friends A Let’s spell. My presentation consists of the following aspects: analysis of teaching material, analysis of the students, analysis o f the teaching aims, analysis of the teaching key and difficult points, analysis of the teaching methods and learning methods, analysis of teaching procedures and the blackboard design.
1. Analysis of teaching material
This unit is about the friends. By studying this unit, we will enable stud ents to know how to pronounce “o-e” and find more words which consists the letter “o-e”. Therefore, this lesson is in the important position of the teaching material. If the students can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the students learn the rest of this book.
2. Analysis of students
Students of this period just learned the English for a few years, so they don’t have enough knowledge background. But they are active and have interest in new things, thus, I can use different methods to create nice atmosphere to let them learn English happily.
3. Analysis of teaching aims
According to the new curriculum standard, the teaching materials and the students’present situation. I set the aims as follows:Knowledge aims:
Students can master the pronunciation of the letter “o-e”.
Ability aims:
To develop Ss’ abilities of listening and speaking.
To train the Ss’ ability of working in groups.
Moral aims:
Students can foster the interest and desire of learning English, and fond of taking part in kinds of class activities and can be improved a lot.
4 .Analysis of Key & Difficult Points
According to the three-dimension. The key point of this lesson is to get students know how to pronou
nce the words correctly and understand the meaning of the sentences. The difficult point is to improve students’speaking and listening ability.
5.Analysis of teaching and learning methods
To help students achieve the teaching aims much easier, I’ll mainly use “Task-based teaching method” ,“Communicative language teaching method” and so on as my teaching methods.
As for the learning methods, I will lead them to practice more, and
learn to join in the games actively.
6.Analysis of teaching aids
To interest my students, I will use PPT and some pictures and the the word cards.
7.Analysis of teaching procedures
Next, let us come to the most important part: the teaching procedures.
It concludes the several parts: warming-up, presentation, practice, production, summary and homew
ork.
Step1 warming-up
1.First, enjoy a beautiful song” A is for apple”.
2.Then enjoy a story:Hot Dog
Read the words: hot, dog, log, fog in the story.
By doing a chant, review the pronounciation of the letter “o-e”. In this step, I can arouse the students’ attention, and they are willing to speak out the English words confidently. It can also lay a good foundation for the next part.
Step2 presentation
1. In this period, I will p resent Mr Jones’ picture and read the words: nose, old Mr Jones .
2.Today is Zip’s birthda y. He invites some friends to his home. Someone is knocking at the door. Ask the students to guess: Who is it? Teach the word “nose” and do a chant of the pronounciation of “o-e”.

3.Present Zip’s picture ,he can’t find his mom, and his mom leaves him
a note, teach the words “note” and”mom”.
4.Teach the students to read the sentences: “Put the Coke on the note.”and“ Look, look, I can put the note on my nose.” Ask some students
to do the action.
5.Friends brings Zip many gifts and read the words rose, Coke, joke and do a chant about the Words.
The purpose of this chant is a good way to attract the students, especially for primary school Students. Also, imitating can make their pronounciation more accurate and make a good foundation of finding the rules.
Step3 practice
Zip wants to drink some Coke. But four tasks should be finished.

Task1 Read the words and watch what are they in common? then read more words include the letter “o-e”.
Task 2 Let’s chant
Old Mr. Jones put the Coke on the note.
Old Mr. Jones put the note on his nose.
Old Mr. Jones put the Coke on the note.
Can old Mr. Jones put his nose on his toes?
Task 3 Read the words and then choose the right answer.
Task 4 Listen and write the words.城市通讯
The purpose of this is to attract the students attention to the spelling of the words. And to help the students to learn a knowledge through a true situation.

Classify the words“o”or “o-e”. Then read a funny poem. By doing this, students can not only pronounce the words correctly, but grasp the usage of them.

Watch a video and then ask the students to conclude what we have learned in this class. And make a summary together.
The purpose of this step is to let students recall what we learned today, and deepen their impression of key words and sentence structures. Step 6: Homework
1. Listen and repeat the words on P26.
2.Read the funny poem with your friends.
3.To look for more words with “o-e”.
8、Blackboard design
The last part is my blackboard design, this can help them know the important point of this lesson and can also help them make the notes.
