determining whether said user equipment experiences a radio link failure; and when it is determined that said user equipment experiences said radio link failure, selectively preventing performance of a radio resource connection re-establishment procedure. In this way, it is possible to configure user equipment so that it may selectively, or under certain circumstances, avoid performing the radio resource connection re-establishment procedure which may inevitably fail and lead to a waste of resources.
