although的用法
although作连词，意思是虽然；尽管；即使；不过；然而。although 引导的从句放在主句前后均可，有时还可放在句中。although引导的从句不能与but、however连用，但可与yet、still连用。 although的用法总结
1.although较正式，语气强
Although he was tired,he went on working.

3.although引导的从句不能与but,how ever连用，但可与yet, still连用。
不能说：Although he was old,but he worked hard.应把but
去掉。当然，保留but而去Although也可。
注意:although的几不:
although不能指假设的情况
although不能作并列连词
although不能作副词，放在词尾

eg:Although he is not smart,he works harder than his classmates.

2.表示惊奇或出乎意料，“虽然”。
eg:He can do most of the housework,although he is only five years old.
虽然他才五岁，他会做大部分家务活。
3.表示让步，“尽管，即使”。
eg:My father is still working outside,although it is very hot.尽管天气很热，我的爸爸还在外面劳作。
4.表示转折，“不过；然而”。
eg:I didn’t agree with him,although I didn’t speak out my opinion at once.
