The main important mechanical and electrical equipments are designed, engineered, produced in Pforzheim (head office) and Leipzig (gear drive company of UNGERER ), such like levelers, S-bridle-sections, decoiler, recoiler, high speed shears, stackers and so on. For the gear drive system, it is engineered, calculated and produced in UNGERER subsidiary in Leipzig, Germany. The electric and electronic components, especially the operating software and the measurement technologies like unflatness measuring system, surface inspection systems or dimension measuring systems, are dev
eloped and designed in UNGERER SYSTEME GMBH + Co. KG. The electronic power drive components and drive system are developed, designed and manufactured in UNGERER’s sister company in Niedernhausen, close to Frankfurt/Main.

3.1 Leveller矫直机
3.1.1 Since introducing the first Roller Leveller in 1895, we have designed and built more than 7000 Roller Levellers, it equip with the high precise and strong and stiff structure, for strips and sheet s in all type of materials, thickness and width ranges,

- Material: ranging from soft aluminum and copper alloys with yield point of 60 N/mm2up to high-strength stainless steel and titanium alloys with yield points of 1950N/mm2.

3.1.2 Pre-tensioning cylinder for the upper part of leveler 矫直机上部预紧力油缸。
In order to ensure the mechanical precision and strongest structure, a hydraulic cylinder is provide the pre-tension for the roll gap adjustment mechanism, to eliminate the mechanical clearance.

3.1.3 Automatic bottom back-up roll calibration technology 下辊盒支撑辊自动标定技术。
When in the calibration mode, the pressure for the back-up roll adjustment switch into low pressure, under the control of servo valve, to carry on the automatic zero position for the back-up roll.
液压系统在标定模式下,切换为低压,支撑辊在伺服阀的控制下,进行自动辊缝靠零,从而实现自动标定。
3.1.4 Automatic mechanical calibration for the back-up roll of upper cassette.上辊盒支撑辊自动机械标定技术。
The bearing frame of upper levelling roll are combine with two parts, can automatic calibrate the back-up roll during assembly, shim is not necessary.
上辊盒工作辊轴承座分为两体,在装配过程中可实现自动标定,无需添加垫片。
3.1.5 Titling adjustment is turning in the center point of middle working roll of upper cassette, separate with the high adjustment, and mechanical position self locking, with strongest structure.
倾斜量调节以上辊盒的中间工作辊的中心为圆心进行转动,与高度调节分离,机械位置自锁,具有极强的刚性。

3.1.6 only one motor adjust the roll gap, can ensure the parallel for the drive side and the operation side. 单电机辊缝高度调节即可保证操作侧和驱动侧辊缝的平行。
Due to the high precision and stiff structure of Ungerer’s leveler, it ensure that we can only use one motor to drive the roll gap on the operation side and the drive side at the same time, after we adjust finish in the factory, the parallel of roll gap can keep in a long time for the operation. It is the same design, even it is the TLL which max tension reach 45T.
正是为因为恩格勒矫直机极高的精度和刚性,保证了可使用单电机同时驱动操作侧和驱动侧辊缝,并在出厂调节完毕后,在长期使用过程中保持辊缝平行不变,这即使是在最大张力达45T的拉弯矫直机中,也是同样的设计。
3.1.7 For our typical dia 16mm levelling roll, its roll neck diameter is 12mm, with the strongest structure, in our company’s reference, such levelling cassette was use for producing the stainless steel with the max yield point 1950N/mm2, and in the max speed 500m/min.
典型的16mm 直径工作辊,其辊颈直径为12mm, 具有极强的刚性,我公司的业绩中,此类辊盒应用的最高速度达500m/min ,不锈钢产品,材料的最大屈服强度为1950N/mm 2。
3.1.8 The levelling roll, intermediate roll and the back-up roll for the upper and bottom cassette is the same design,  it can exchange use.
上下辊盒的工作辊、中间辊及支撑辊都是相同设计,可相互更换使用。
3.1.9 For producing the strip with max width 650mm, we provide 9 section back-up carries, the pitch is 100mm, the length of working roll is approx 1050mm, it ensure the enough adjustment stroke of back-up roll for the edge of strip, otherwise, it may be bend too much, create the inner stress on the roll neck position, the working roll is easy be deformed or broken.
对于650mm 宽度的产品,我们提供的矫直机支撑辊分为9段调节,每段间隔100mm, 工作辊长度约为1050mm ,有效保证了带材边部支撑辊的作用行程,防止由于挠度过大,辊子辊颈处应力集中,造成变形或断辊。
3.1.10 Together with the well-known company INA, we developed the backup bearing. Comparing with normal bearing, it is longer working time (5 times). This bearing also has a feature of good sealed performance.
与世界著名公司INA 一起研发的支撑辊轴承,具有使用寿命长,油脂密封性能好等特点,使用寿命可以达到一般轴承的5 倍。

Ungerer had built the AFC (Automatic flatness control) system for more than 25 years. Other companies were still use the manual operation technology for the back-up of leveler till now. 3.2.1.1 Automatic close loop control will automatic create the best bending line of the levelling roll
according to the unlfatness of incoming material, and optimize and fine adjustment in his every circle of close loop control, to achieve the best flatness result (<1-Unit). Even the unflatenss of incoming material is changing, it can automatic adjusted accordingly, to ensure the stability of the flatness result for the outgoing material.
板形自动闭环控制,根据来料的板形情况,自动生成最佳的矫直辊弯辊曲线,并在每个闭环控制周期不断的进行优化和精调,以至达到最佳的出料板形结果(<1-Unit),即使来料板形产生变化,其也将自动进行调节,确保出料板形的结果的稳定。
3.2.1.2 Just because of that, the rate of finishing product is higher a lot than the line which don’t have
the close loop control, it avoid the problem for the slow reaction, low efficient, experience etc of manual adjustment.
因为如此,产品的成品率比不带闭环控制要高出很多,避免了人工调节反应慢、效率低、凭经验等问题。
The flatness of incoming material is ever-changing, although you may have tens or hundreds bending curve in the database, but there is not absolute right curve is match to the present incoming
coil, and even inside a incoming coil, its unflatness is also changing in the whole length. The manual adjustment can never follow the change, the flatness result and stability cannot compare to the automatic close loop control.
来料的板形情况千变万化,虽然在数据库中存有几十种或上百种弯辊曲线,但并不绝对的适用于当前的产品,且在同一卷产品中,其板形在整卷的长度方向上也是在不断的变化的。人工的调节永远也没法跟得上变化,产品的板形质量和稳定程度也没法与自动闭环控制的相比。
3.2.1.3 There is not request for the experience of operator; the fresh operator can produce the qualified
product also.
对操作人员不需要经验要求,新人即可上手生产合格产品。
3.2.1.4 It will automatic create the best bending line of the levelling roll, you can save the curve in the
name of the description for the incoming material. It can be the adjustment base for the next similar incoming material.
根据用户的来料板形情况,自动生产最佳弯曲线,以相应来料状况作为文件名,保储在数据库中,可供下次同样的来料作为设备设置的基础。
3.2.1.5 The commissioning time of line is very short, and don’t need big amount test material, the
commissioning is also the production.
生产线调试周期非常短,不需要大量的试车料,调试即是生产合格产品。
Because the line is equip with the automatic close loop control system, it can very fast to create the best bending curve of the levelling roll. The specific process parameter for this kind of material is finish test accordingly, and then you can save it into the database.
因生产线具备有板形闭环控制系统,快速的产生最佳的弯辊曲线,随即完成生产该类产品的设备工艺参数,保存在数据库中。
