【Abstract】 Objective To observe the effect of secondary intraorbital implantation of hydroxyapatite（HA）sphere in anophthalmos.Methods The hydroxyapatite新型玉米脱粒机（HA）sphere was implanted into the eye socket in147patients after enu-cleation of eyeball.Results Satisfactory results of the correction of anophthalmos and the movement of hydroxyapatite（HA）implants were obtained in all cases.Conclusion Secondary intraorbital implantation
of hydroxyapatite（HA）spheres is the most effective method for correction of anophthalmos after enucleation of eyeball.The appropriate size of HA sphere and exact suture of conjunctivas and fascia bulbi during operation are the effective method for prevention comˉplications after operation.
