Abstract
Bandgap reference source is an import ant unit in integrated circuits, which supplied reference voltage or current independent of temperature and supply voltage. The bandgap reference source is widely used in analog and mixed integrated circuits, such as
data conversion circuit and the voltage regulator circuit. This paper briefly describes the development process of the CMOS bandgap reference sources, in recent years, developments and future prospects for development, current development and research of the status quo, in some research areas and the lack of a conventional bandgap reference souce; Brief the basic principles of the COMS bandgap reference circuit types and their respective characteristics, focusing on the domestic scholars have focused on several new bandgap reference circuit, and these new design methods what are the weaknesses, and how improve theto analyze the future development trend of the CMOS bandgap reference source.
