我曾是一名军人 英语作文

I am a soldier, like many comrades, guarding the frontier

of our motherland. From the first time I wore a five-pointed

star and a green military uniform to this vast land of energy

and white, I decided to stay here for all my youthful years.

This is the most border of the motherland, with a very high

altitude magnificent snow-capped mountains.

I am shocked by the beauty of the motherland, and I am

honored and proud that I can protect this tranquility and

beauty.

In the early morning, I stood guard at the guard pavilion,

and I could see the sun slowly showing its face from the other

end of the snow-capped mountains, scattering orange light on

the snow, which dyed the hills red, bright and dazzling, like

glowing gold and full of yellow and orange flowers. Whenever

this time, I can feel refreshed and ecstatic, and I won't feel

that the cold wind of the snowy mountains is so biting, and the

deserted morning is so quiet. Because I know that the rare

beauty in front of me is the best reward from my motherland.

In the afternoon, I will go on patrol with my comrades, and walk

through the places we have traveled countless times, leaving

rows of solid footprints on the edge of the motherland. Only

we will walk that road over and over again, stepping on the thick

snow layer all year round, carrying tough steel guns, and

passing by the boundary pillar of the motherland. Although in

the cold mountain, every time we walk, we have to endure all

kinds of natural and physical tests, our skin is no longer

smooth and soft, and our palms become extremely rough, but our

hearts are getting stronger and more proud. Because, as we know,

our motherland forged us and we guarded our motherland.

And every night, I always lie in bed, trouble sleeping. I

often think of my family who are far away from the motherland,

whether they have already slept, or whether they can't sleep

like me. When I left home, my parents didn't have white hair

on their heads. I wonder if it is still black and bright now.

I have dreamed of lying in my mother's arms for countless times,

feeling her warm breath, but when I came home after I left for

a long time, I didn't dare to be spoiled in front of her. I'm

afraid to see their eyes every time they send me away. I'm always

ashamed that I can't be by their side and cry, but they always

say, "You guard the motherland just like you guard us. We are

proud of you!" This sentence always gives me great strength when

I am in pain and sorrow. When I fall asleep at the border of

my motherland, my heart will become firm and peaceful.

I am such a soldier, an ordinary soldier. I would like to

dedicate my youth and blood to the motherland, to this

magnificent mountain and river. I will never live up to the

five-star red flag on my head and the green military uniform

I am wearing; Never live up to the entrustment of the motherland

and the expectations of family members.
