HIT

OCCUR TO

Occur to is used to express an idea or thought that comes

into someone's mind suddenly.

Examples

It suddenly occurred to me that I had forgotten my wallet.

It didn’t occur to me until later that I should have said

something.

It never occurred to me that you would need help with the

project.

STRIKE

Strike is used to talk about making contact with something

forcefully, often with the intention of causing damage or a
