跑步比赛，演讲等话题是读后续写中的常客。在2022年新高考中便是残疾孩子参加跑步比赛，2020年新高考应用文中也考到了越野比赛，在平时的地区性考试中，也常见，是不是要积累一下常见短语和词汇呢？碰巧遇到这样一篇文章---残疾孩子赛场助人，一起学起来吧。

The Real Champion

I like running and for me, success was winning every race I

participated in. My classmates called me Incredible Dash. One day,

there was a sporting event planned in my school. Well-prepared

for the running competition,（分词作状语） I took part in almost

every race there was. A large number of people gathered to watch（描写观众）. Crowds were eager to see （描写观众，注意形容词的用法）the running race because it was the most exciting event.

When the race for 400m started, all the boys ran

fast. Unsurprisingly, I finished first （获得第一名）in the race

was tiring, I felt proud and was on top of my world.

In the race for 200m, I ran full speed（全力奔跑） and finished the

race first once again. The crowd gave thundering claps to me（观众反应）. I jumped all over the ground and was not bothered

everyone's surprise, Matt decided to complete the event.

主旨：

本篇文章的标题是the real Champion，最后要落脚到什么是真正的冠军，要有解读。The real champion is not finishing first in the race,

but helping first in the race. 读后续写一般不会给出标题，而这种有标题的读后续写恰恰为我们指明了文章的主题，最后点题句就很容易写出来。

语言特点：

本文的特点是形容词用的很多，关注作者是如何使用的：作定语，表语，状语，在续写时，注意文中的这个特点。描写作者接受帮助后的guilty，grateful.描写残疾对手的warm-hearted，kind。

形容词与副词的作用是一样的，都是描写人物的状态或特点，形容词和副词是可以互相转化的，比如gently可以用in a gentle way替换

语言积累：

本文中还有三个非谓语动词作状语。续写中可以学起来。比如：

Seeing what he did ,the crowd gave a round of applause.

Frustrated at the possible failure, I couldn't help complaining.

写作难点：

续写时要关注上下文的衔接。每一段设计2-3个场景，不要总是用动词，动词只能推动故事发展，还要注意形容词与副词的使用。把人物的情感发展融入到故事的进展中。

I fell hard to the ground, clutching my leg in pain. The crowd

gasped in surprise as I struggled to get back up. The leg spasm

had taken me by surprise, and I could feel my chances of winning

slipping away. But then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw Matt

approaching me with concern in his eyes.“Are you okay?” he

asked, extending a helping hand. I hesitated for a moment,

my pride wounded, but realizing that Matt’s kindness outweighed

any sense of rivalry, I accepted his offer.（本段注意了与原文语言风格的协同）

defined solely by their speed or strength, but by their character
