小学英语作文：骄傲的孔雀 The Arrogant Peacock

Look at the peacock! It is so beautiful and proud. It walks around

with its head high and its feathers spread out. It loves to show off

its colorful feathers.

One day, a rabbit saw the peacock and was very impressed by its

beauty. It wanted to be as beautiful as the peacock, so it asked the

peacock to teach it how to be beautiful.

The peacock was very proud and said, "You can never be as

beautiful as me! I have colorful feathers, and you only have plain

fur. I am the most beautiful creature in the world!"

The rabbit was very sad and started to cry. Seeing this, the peacock

felt sorry for it and said, "Don't cry. I can teach you how to be

beautiful in your own way. You can use your ears to listen to the

beautiful music of nature. You can use your eyes to see the

wonderful things in nature. You can use your nose to smell the

sweet fragrance of flowers. You can use your feet to run and

explore the world. You can use your heart to be kind and

compassionate. You can be beautiful in your own way!"

The rabbit was very happy and thanked the peacock. From then on,

it was happy and proud of its own beauty.

就看孔雀了！它多么漂亮又骄傲。它把头抬得很高，把羽毛展开，爱炫耀它五颜六的羽毛。

有一天，一只兔子看到孔雀，被它的美丽惊艳到了。它也想变

得像孔雀一样漂亮，于是就问孔雀教它怎样才能变得漂亮。

孔雀很骄傲地说：“你永远不可能像我一样漂亮！我有五颜六的羽毛，而你只有普通的皮毛。我是世界上最美的生物！”

兔子很伤心，开始哭了。孔雀看到了，就感到很抱歉，说：“别哭，我可以教你怎样用自己的方式变得漂亮。你可以用耳朵去听大自然的美妙音乐；用眼睛去看大自然的美好景象；用鼻子去闻花的香气；用脚去跑跑，去探索这个世界；用心去做善良而有同情心的人。你可以用自己的方式变得漂亮！”

兔子很高兴，谢谢了孔雀。从此，它开心地为自己的美丽而骄傲。
