本案例选自职业高中英语基础模块上册Unit 12 The Spring

Festival ,本课是

阅读课的第一课时,围绕的主题——春节,设计了一系列的教学步骤,旨在阅读本文提高学生对春节的了解

二.

教学目标

1.

知识与技能目标:

Knowledge Objectsand Ability Objects:

(知识目标)(技能目标)(1)让学生了解中国的传统节日春节,理解阅读内容,掌握阅读技巧,提高阅读能力。

2. Emotional goals(情感目标):通过学习本文让学生了解更多的中国传统节日,热爱祖国的传统文化

三.Teaching key points and difficult points(教学重难点):

1.知识重点与难点:掌握重点单词和短语。

2.能力难点与重点:了解文章掌握中心意思,提高阅读能力,掌握春节的一些活动。

四.Teaching Approaches(教学方法):

1. Task----based teaching method to finish the teaching

assignment.

2. Fast reading to find out some general information.

3. Careful reading to find the details in the passage.

5. Inductive method to make the Ss understand the text better.

本节课用多媒体教学,更加直观,提高课堂的直观性和趣味性,提高教学效果。

六.Teaching procedures(教学过程):Period

Step I Warming up & Pre-reading

Let students watch the pictures of the Spring Festival and

Christmas, then ask the following questions:

1. When is the Spring Festival/Thanksgiving Day/Christmas Day?

2. What’s your favorite festival?

设计说明:根据书中所给图片挖掘学生对于春节的了解从而引入到新课

Step II Reading

1. Fast reading

(1) Go through the text to get the general idea

(2) Match each paragraph with its main idea

Para1 the Spring Festival is coming, he goes to home.

Para2 The time of the Spring Festival.

Para3 People do some preparing for the Spring Festival.

Para4 With the whole family together, we do some activities.

Para5 On the first morning, they express best wishes to each other.

2. Careful reading

(1)Read the text carefully to find some detailed information

Do exercise I

True or False

i)

The Spring Festival is people’s favorite festival of a year in

China and in many Asian countries.

ii)

They clean their houses a few days before the Spring Festival

mainly because the houses are dirty.

iii)

As for our family, we usually have a family reunion on the

first day of the Lunar New Year.

iv)

Children are very happy to receive the lucky money from the

senior member of the family.

Read the text carefully and do exercise II on P95

Post reading

(1)Listening and summary

(2)Retell the text

设计说明:在阅读过程中用了fast reading ,careful reading ,post

reading带领学生进行阅读,让学生对文章由浅入深,从而一步一步了解文章,在每一步中都布置任务,在最后播放录音,让学生总体把握一下全文。

在分析文章时,重点放在重点短语和词汇上。

Step III Talk show

1. What do you do on the Spring Festival?

2. Do you know some other festivals?

设计说明:

在阅读完后,准备一个talk show

来提高学生的说 3

的能力,同时也是对文章的一个很好的理解,再讨论一些其他的节日来拓宽学生的知识面,以此达到对中国传统节日有更多的了解。

Step IV Homework

Part A

1. Read the text and finish the exercises in your exercise books.

2. preview the language points

Part B

Ask some students to have discussion about Western Festival.

设计说明:在homework中,把作业设计为Part A and Part B ,

Part A为所有学生必做题

,Part B

为选做题,要求有余力的学生完成一个关于西方国家的节日的讨论,能做到因材施教的原则。
