able和capable都有能干和能够的意思。

一、able所强调的范围相对较大，意思是有能力的； 有才干的；

干练的。可指一个人有能力，能干，多才多艺。也可以表示客观上能做某事。看下面的例句：

He is an able worker.他是一个能干的工人。

able常用句型:sb be able to do sth,如：

You should be able to read the code and see what it does.
