The current sensor is provided with a pair of magnetic balancesensors (1A, 1B), each of which includes: a magnetic sensor element wherein the

characteristics change with an induction magnetic field applied from the current to bemeasured; and a feedback coil (111), which is disposed close to the magnetic sensorelement, and which generates a cancelling magnetic field that cancels the inductionmagnetic field. Furthermore, the magnetic balance sensors detect and output a currentthat flows in the feedback coil (111) in an equilibrium state, wherein a current is carried tothe feedback coil (111), and the induction magnetic field and the cancelling magnetic fieldare cancelled to each other.
