一、招生条件不同

我国的普通大学在招生的时候，体检是比较宽松的，除了对于传染病等疾病的审查比较严格意外，在其他方面几乎没有要求。但是军校招生对于身体素质的要求就特别高，首先高考分数线一般是一本线以下十分左右，而且对于视力还有身高以及外貌都有一定的要求。

一般来说军校招生的体检要求是这样的，左眼视力在4.5以上，右眼视力在4.6以上，男生身高要在一米六以上，女生身高要在一米五八以上。

有些兵种的要求特别高，比如空军，对于学生的要求简直堪比清华北大。

二、收费方式不同

普通大学一般在入学前都会要求同学在上缴清学费，生活费需要自己准备。一般来说普通高校的大学生在上学期间的开销都比较大。

而军校生由于属于军队管理，所以很多费用都是免费的，比如学杂费，生活费也会有一些补助。因为国家用国防军费来供养军校。而且由于军校生一般不能出校门，所以上大学期间在费用上的压力会小很多。
